CFO Systems and Ideation Ventures have announced they are joining forces to facilitate growth at both firms. As a part of this strategic relationship, Ideation Ventures founder John Gustafson will serve as managing director of CFO Systems’ business financing division, CFO Capital. CFO Capital provides clients with access to an extensive selection of financing options by evaluating the various financing alternatives and using its expertise to develop the best financial proposal for each individual business.
Formed in 2005, Ideation Ventures assists entrepreneurs, investors, and managers of high growth and middle-market companies in preparing for and executing strategic transactions, such as capital raises, mergers and acquisitions, and turnarounds. Gustafson brings 20 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, and privately-held company operations. “Our partnership with CFO Systems allows us to offer a full suite of strategic planning and investment banking to their clients, while also offering their extensive financial and operational leadership to our clients,” says Gustafson.
