You should never miss an opportunity to see future Olympians–even if you don’t know what curling is.

CFO Systems plans to attend the US Olympic Trials for curling at the Baxter Arena in Omaha throughout the week of November 11-18. With five men’s teams and three women’s teams, only one team from each will earn a slot in the 2018 Winter Olympics in PyeongChang, South Korea.

What exactly is curling? According to Olympic.org, curling originated in Scotland in the 16th century and is one of the world’s oldest team sports. It is “a team sport played by two teams of four players on a rectangular sheet of ice.” It was first included in the 1924 Olympic games but was dropped and did not officially re-join the Olympic games until 1998.

This article along with infographic from Mashable should help you understand what some consider to be a relatively complicated game.

In the meantime, consider getting tickets and seeing curling live.  You never know, it could become your new favorite sport. At the very least, you’ll spend a couple hours supporting Olympic hopefuls!
