CFO Systems announces annual scholarship at Wayne State College

CFO Systems is pleased to announce a new scholarship available to Accounting students at Wayne State College.

The CFO Systems Annual Accounting Scholarship was started in 2018 at Wayne State College through the Wayne State Foundation, with its inaugural award given in the 2018-19 academic year. This $1,000 annual scholarship is awarded to a Wayne State College student who is majoring in Business Administration-Accounting, is at least a junior in standing, and has achieved a GPA of 3.50 or higher. Awarding preference is also given to a student with interest in pursuing a career with one of the Big 4 accounting firms. Brett Frevert, Managing Director of CFO Systems, is a 1985 graduate of Wayne State College. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Accounting.

Students who receive scholarships gather each year at Homecoming to meet and socialize with the donors of the awards. This year’s Homecoming, themed “Dare to Roar”, will be held the week of September 24-30. Annual scholarships are funded annually, and one hundred percent of the proceeds go toward the scholarship award
