Christopher Powell is a strategic, results-oriented chief financial officer with a demonstrated track record of achievement in raising capital, budgeting and forecasting, mergers and acquisitions, strategic decision analysis, and project and process management. In his most recent role as CFO for a tech-enabled point-of-sale home improvement lender, Chris led critical aspects of the Section 363 sale of the business to a leading mortgage lender. He built the FP&A function that resulted in increased financial accountability and expense cuts of over 60% and reduced the accounting close cycle from seven to five days.

While building rapport at all levels within an organization, Chris’s responsibilities have regularly included the full range of business management, accounting, and financial planning and analysis (FP&A). Additionally, he has managed multiple debt-financing transactions, led valuation and forecasting, and developed and implemented projection models. He has also been actively involved in building business from the ground up and raising capital.
