Doug Elliott has over thirty-seven years of leadership experience in the accounting and finance divisions of private, public, and nonprofit organizations that include full-service cooperatives. During his diverse career, he has served as CFO and Controller in the disciplines of financial management, operations, strategic planning, start-ups, mergers & acquisitions and customer service.
He spent over twenty years in the agricultural sector as CFO for organizations with annual sales ranging from $5M to $250M and G&A budgets of $200K to $2.3M+ while building relationships that fostered positive results, providing deliverables with integrity, and implementing budgeting and cost management initiatives. Doug led and managed accounting divisions that provided services for payables, receivables, purchasing, payroll, benefits, members’ equity, fixed assets, depreciation, banking, cash flow management, and P&Ls while ensuring the automation of accounting, budgeting, and other associated functions.
Doug grew up on a small family farm in Iowa. He is a graduate of Iowa State University and lives in Ames with his wife, Jan. Today, he serves his clients with a passion for driving growth and fostering performance while creating an environment for success.
