Stephanie Kitselman has over 15 years of extensive financial and executive management experience in diverse industries including banking, utilities, nuclear power, healthcare, non-profit, and professional service firms. She leverages her vast background in finance, strategy, risk management, HR, and operational excellence to partner with businesses and help achieve organizational goals.
As the CFO of a federally qualified health center chain, Stephanie directed financial operations, budgeting, reporting, regulatory affairs, strategic planning, and a multi-million-dollar portfolio comprised of federal, state, and private foundation grants as well as ad valorem tax funding under guidance of 2 CFR Part 200 regulatory requirements. During her tenure, she successfully designed and executed a turnaround plan that resulted in significant savings of over 20% in the first year, improved the current ratio from 0.7 to 3.5, and attaining the first year-end financial profit for the company in over two decades.
Through her leadership, Stephanie’s team significantly reduced outstanding A/R, decreased allowance for doubtful accounts risk by 67%, and improved cash liquidity by 600%. In addition, Stephanie developed and implemented several key process improvement projects that resulted in an annual revenue increase of 18% while concurrently saving over 26% in budgeted costs. Her background also includes a role in the financial services sector of a publicly owned nuclear power operating company where she helped develop and support annual operating and capital budgets of $350M and $200M and independently managed the nuclear fuel budget ranging from $50M – $150M+ annually.
She also played a role in the company integrated risk management team during her tenure in nuclear power. Her background also includes banking deposit and compliance operations as well as residential, commercial, and agricultural lending practices. Stephanie has a natural ability to foster relationships with all levels within an organization and key external stakeholders to offer a proven strong business acumen and expertise that increases efficiency and drives positive results.
