Todd Steen has over 30 years of experience in financial leadership primarily in the agriculture and renewable fuels industries. During his career, he has been an integral part of startups which have grown into successful businesses, and has built high performing financial teams within dynamic, fast-paced growth organizations.
His diverse background includes oversight of treasury, financial planning and reporting, strategic tax planning and compliance, IT, HR, and risk management that included a focus on improving the accuracy of forecasts by development financial models, implementing systems, and executing processes and improving reporting capabilities and operating efficiencies by leading the selection process and implementation of ERP. Todd also has experience managing several credit facilities that included negotiating terms with banks, providing strategic direction for financing, tax planning, and the organizational structure of investment funds, and developing financial guidelines and internal controls designed to safeguard assets and mitigate risk.
