Michael Bone has over 30 years of experience in manufactured product companies serving various consumer, industrial and animal health segments. Throughout his career, he has worked in financial leadership roles as well as direct operational positions in companies ranging in size from $10M to $2.5B in revenue. Michael has significant expertise in operational finance including cost accounting, manufacturing variance analysis, and margin improvement, most recently leading a global effort to improve gross margins by over 300 basis points in less than two years.

He is trained as a leader in Lean Enterprise and is a Six Sigma Green Belt. He has led and coached teams ranging in size from three to 300.  

Michael has been married for over 30 years and has four grown children. His interests include singing and playing saxophone in cover bands, learning golf, and playing baseball in men’s leagues. He recently achieved status as a Guiness World Record holder as part of a group of 59 players who played a continuous 100-hour baseball game, raising $100K for local charities.
