Layne Rackley
Director
Layne Rackley brings nearly 40 years of business experience to the CFO Systems team. He spent the first half of his career in audit, process improvement, and regulatory compliance for a wide range of industries including banking, construction, distribution, and entertainment. During that time, he gained valuable insight into the intersectionality of operational, financial, and governance aspects of business.
As a CFO for over 20 years, Layne oversaw finance and administration for interconnected real estate, mortgage banking, and settlement services companies. While managing corporate finance departments, he was also responsible for financial reporting, budget and variance analysis, and due diligence for mergers and acquisitions. He led multiple accounting systems conversions and managed a property management department; human resources, technology and facilities functions; audit, risk, and legal relationships.
Today, Layne serves on the Board of Directors for the Human Rights Campaign Foundation and is a member of the San Diego Community Leadership Council. He is a former member of the Community Advisory Council for the San Diego History Center, and maintains an active CPA license with the State of California.
Layne is a problem solver who strategically manages details. His strong organizational skills and aptitude for process improvement, cost containment and financial control help clients seeking to grow, reorganize, or further enhance their business.
