David Clute is a seasoned leader with over 30 years of professional work experience. He has developed depth in the fields of information technology, management consulting, and finance & accounting. His career has traversed diverse industries such as insurance, energy, waste disposal, higher education, healthcare and materials handling.
David brings a uniquely well-rounded perspective to clients. His technical aptitude was honed as a student of applied mathematics where he passed four actuarial exams. His career started in IT, progressing from programmer to project manager to IT manager. As an entrepreneur, David provided accounting, IT, and business management guidance to other entrepreneurs, both as a consultant and as an adjunct college instructor. His passion for public speaking led him around the country as an advocate for employee engagement with Gallup. He has coached hundreds of people using the StrengthsFinder® personality assessment.
David’s executive leadership roles have featured two common achievements. He discovers efficiencies and insights by leveraging data-mining tools for business intelligence. He collaborates with and empowers colleagues beyond the accounting department; David has supervised and developed talent in human resources, facilities, grants and contracts, program management, administrative support, and information technology. He has also facilitated teambuilding events and offsite retreats. David loves to learn and grow and shares this enthusiasm with his clients.
