Christopher Whitlow is a Certified Public Accountant with over 20 years of experience. He has held positions ranging from tax preparation to consulting to financial leadership. Chris’s career has included roles at a CPA firm, an engineering company, and several SaaS companies.
In his most recent leadership role, Chris managed all financial aspects of the business while developing a metric-based revenue forecasting model that was 95-97% accurate. This model allowed the executive management team to understand which variables had the largest impact on sales revenue that resulted in monthly revenue targets being met and gross revenue growing from $7.9M to $12M in less than three years. Chris also developed treasury and cash management strategies that resulted in building over $400K of surplus cash savings, while eliminating over $400K of credit card debt and paying out of $800K in shareholder dividends.
His varied strengths include building relationships with clients and colleagues, working collaboratively, developing and managing teams, creating and implementing new processes to improve efficiency, and overseeing forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting processes. Chris is a seasoned professional able to seamlessly transition into an organization, identify challenges, and provide solutions that lead to positive results.
