Milton brings nearly 40 years of business experience to the CFO Systems team. He spent the first part of his career in supply chain management while serving with the US Marine Corps where he gained valuable experience in operations, management, and logistics.
Next, Milton worked in investment banking, project management consulting, and corporate finance in for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. During this time, Milton began specializing in healthcare finance, serving as CFO for a senior care and assisted-living facility and a critical access hospital. Milton is a seasoned board member of two Federally Qualified Health Centers.
His skillset includes budgeting and forecasting; financial and board of directors’ reporting; banking, insurance, benefits, and auditing relationships; and financial compliance. His achievements include building a finance department for a new, growing company; reducing aging receivables by 50%; bond refinance savings by $1.6M, reducing monthly payments and shortening bond life; implementing multiple new systems including an electronic health record system, accounting system, an HR information and payroll system, and a self-insured captive health benefits plan. Milton’s wealth of experience, passion for solving complex problems, and strong analytical skills help his clients meet today’s difficult business challenges while growing their businesses.
